I need some help, some accountability, and some encouragement. Follow my journey to becoming gluten free.

I had been wanting to do an allergy test, to see what I was allergic to. So back in 2012 I found out I was allergic to wheat but I haven’t done anything about it since then. As I was laying in bed last night with stomach pains (again) and I was thinking about what I need to do to feel better. I’ve been suffering through the stomach pain and all the other physical issues that I have for the past 6 years. And I am tired of it. It’s time for a change.
So starting TODAY I will be getting ready to go gluten free. I know this is going to be hard but I can do it. It will take patience and learning to try new things. I need to force myself to stick to it no matter what.
I am going to start with meal planning 2 weeks at a time and do food prep on the weekends.
Does anyone have good delicious options for breakfast? That’s one area I need help with. My go-to breakfast right now is a muffin and iced coffee from Robin’s Donuts. I sometimes go 3 times a week. So I need some healthier choices that are quick and easy.
Please share any recipe ideas you have!!! I also checked out the Minimalist Baker, she’s got some good looking food ideas.
Please follow along with me as I journey to become gluten free.
This is awesome! I am in a similar boat. When I have given up wheat in the past, I have felt a world of difference in my energy, mood and digestion. I am starting a 3 week wheat-free challenge tomorrow to ease back into cutting it out, along with packaged sugar stuff. I will let you know how it goes too! I have found that the first week sucks. You might feel headachy and emotional as it is a bit of a withdrawal. I will send you some recipe blogs I follow ♡
