2017 At a Glance

Our small group started for the new year with about 3-4 people each week from about January to September and then come September we had 8-10 people. I love this group of ladies. I feel like I’ve known them for years. I don’t know what I would do without them. I am so blessed to know them.

March- May

Our church started the new Alpha course and I was asked to be the worship coordinator. It was a new position this year as they didn’t normally incorporate worship I the sessions. I was in charge of finding someone each week to leader us in song. We had the privilege of having a few wonderful people from out Church to lead us.

I was also a helper in the small group time. I thoroughly enjoyed my time. I have made some great connections and I feel like we had the best group. There was never a dual moment and we were able to open up about so much. I am thankful for that group of people. There were lots of tears and laughs. Prayer and guidance. And most importantly, there was lots of love.

My newest nephew Kaleb was born on May 16th, he was a 6 pounder. He is a gem. I know have 4 nephews and 1 niece. I love them all so much.

I celebrated my 33rd birthday and we celebrated my eldest nephew Dylan. We had his grade 12 prom and he went with his lovely girlfriend Ashley. There were adorable.

And then Dylan graduated high school. I can’t believe it. My eldest nephew graduated. Where has the time gone? I’m so proud of him.

I finally had my summer vacation. I usually take it in August cause most of the weather is great. I started vacation off with The Magic Bus Wine Tour with 2 great friends. It was a blast and I would definitely do it again.

Through the week I went to the city, and to the south shore. I even went to the beach by myself. I actually didn’t mind it at all. I ABSOLUTELY love the beach. I always go to Rissers on the south shore.

Overall it was a pretty relaxing vacation.

September (no pictures for this)

My eldest nephew Dylan started university at Acadia in Wolfville, Nova Scotia and my only niece started school for the first time. What a precious time.

Our annual youth event Challenge celebrated its 29th year. What a fantastic time we had! We had a great speaker and band. As well as great food and service projects. I can’t wait until next year, #30.

We had our 3rd annual Live Nativity at our church. It’s a fantastic to see so many volunteers from the church come together and get this thing going. It was another great year!

We had a Christmas cafe a week before Christmas. Such great a good time.

Then there was Christmas. I enjoyed time with family and friends. Another successful year. 2017 you were great! I look forward to what 2018 will bring. God is going to do some wonderful things.
