Canada Day Long Weekend

What a great weekend! Celebrating Canada 150. Even though it rained most of the weekend I still had a fun time. We went to Halifax to see the big ship but with the fog we couldn’t see it. We enjoyed a nice walk at a Point a Pleasant Park. The city was crazy busy, so man people.

We came home and then I headed out again for Canada Day fireworks but they were quite disappointing. Oh well.

I took it easy on a Sunday but Monday was a holiday for me, so my parents and I took a trip to the south shore. We went to Hirtle’s beach and it was absolutely freezing but if we had waited it would have been nicer.

Mahone Bay was gorgeous but hot. We had a BBQ by the water and then headed to Joanne’s Market for cheesecake!

Chester was gorgeous. I so wish I owned a cottage on the south shore.

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!
