#throwback- Winnipeg part 3

Gimli, Manitoba and Family Dinners

Recently Gimli has been in the news because of all the dead fish flies. They are disgusting. Anyway, our supervisor took us interns to a cabin for the weekend so we could get to know each other and figure out how things were going. PS: Every time I hear Gimli I think of Lord of the Rings.

So we cooked together, prayed together and had quiet time. Sometimes you need that quiet time. I wish I had gotten pictures for the cabin. oh well…

Every Tuesday and Thursday we would have family dinners with all the interns and our Supervisor and his family. Tuesdays are the intern house and Thursday at the supervisors house. It was a time for us to get together, hang out and see how everyone was doing.

The following photos are from one of our family dinners.
