From the Inside Out

This song fits in so well with what we are talking about right now.

From the Inside Out by Hillsong

A thousand times I’ve failed
Still Your mercy remains
And should I stumble again
Still I’m caught in Your grace

Everlasting
Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending
Your glory goes beyond all fame

My heart and my soul, I give You control
Consume me from the inside out, Lord
Let justice and praise become my embrace
To love You from the inside out

Your will above all else
My purpose remains
The art of losing myself
In bringing You praise

And the cry of my heart
Is to bring You praise
From the inside out
Lord, my soul cries out

We are currently reading a book called “Inside out” by Dr. Larry Crabb.

The first section is called “Looking Beneath the Surface of Life” and the first chapter is called “Real Change Requires an Inside Look”.

We are learning to to change from the inside out and I this is going to be a struggle but in the end turn out to be something great. I hope so at least.

It’s going to be interesting to find out what comes out of looking inside. I kind of scared to see what is going to come out of my life. Things that I thought were lost will come rushing out. AHHHH. But it is for the best. I know God will reveal things that I didn’t even know about. I am excited to see myself grow in my relationship with Christ and even though I am completely scared, God will be right there helping me every step of the way. I tend to keep everything bottled up and I don’t like to deal with things. But with this book it’s going to bring everything out in the open.

I have been struggling with why I am here and I do believe God will, in time, reveal his reasoning as to why.

I need to thank God for his faithfulness, pray for strength, and press on.
